Sarah Rabil, who had been assistant managing editor for talent at The Wall Street Journal, has become an editor on the Work & Life team.
She had been on a sabbatical for the past year.
Rabil had been leading external and internal recruitment efforts, working with hiring managers and other senior editors to ensure that the WSJ newsroom is diverse, inclusive and welcoming. Rabil joined the Journal in 2015 as the deputy bureau chief for media and marketing.
She previously worked at Bloomberg News as a media reporter, edited and oversaw a global column analyzing mergers and acquisitions, and was a team leader for media and telecommunications for North America.
She is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
