Tech news site Protocol has hired Morning Consult senior reporter Lisa Martine Jenkins to be a reporter on its new climate desk.
She will start later this month.
Jenkins has been at Morning Consult since February 2020 covering energy. She previously was North America reporter for Chemical Watch, covering chemical regulation for an industry, government, and activist audience. She also focused on how public and environmental health issues can inform regulatory policy in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
She previously was a reporting fellow at the Associated Press.
Jenkins holds an undergraduate degree from University of California-Berkeley and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
