The Ottawa Citizen has made the type for its stock listings one point size bigger and changed the list of companies, according to a short story in Tuesday’s paper.

Stock listingsRobert Bostelaar wrote, “The biggest change is a full, one-point increase in type size for stock listings. Plus we’ve revised the type and made other changes in presentation, again to make listings easier to read.

“We’ve also updated the list of Ottawa-headquartered firms and other companies of special interest to our readers, and we’ve adjusted the Mutual Funds section to spotlight funds that have made the largest gains or losses during the day. A full list of 2,000 funds, plus complete stock exchange listings, will continue to appear in our weekly Markets report every Saturday.

“Our new page is designed to complement the minute-by-minute stocks information available through our website, but also to stand on its own for those who prefer a printed format.”
