Corinne Jurney, the senior investing producer at Forbes, is leaving for a job with The Capitol Forum in Washington.

She’ll be a consumer protection correspondent, starting Aug. 1.

Jurney will be the second traditional journalist to join the company’s corporate investigations team, working closely with Jeff Bliss, who’s the first.

“Forbes is doing really exciting things in its centennial year, and I’ve been lucky to learn from the incredible editors and journalists there for the past two years,” said Jurney in a email to Talking Biz News. “Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to join the dedicated folks who started The Capitol Forum, and use my writing to expose corruption and fraud by public companies, increasing transparency for consumers and investors.”

Capitol Forum is a growing media company that focuses on antitrust investigations and corporate investigations relating to alleged fraud. It’s also expanding its mergers and acquisitions reporting team.
