Whyte previously worked for CIO Magazine as an assistant editor and as a staff writer for the past two years. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and economics from Northwestern University.
In addition, Leanna Orr has moved into a senior writer position. She replaces Imogen Rose-Smith, who left a few months ago to be an investment fellow with the University of California.
Orr was previously in charge of network content. Before joining Institutional Investor, she was managing editor of CIO.
Institutional Investor’s web traffic is up 40 percent in the past year.
