Christian Vasquez has been hired by CyberScoop News as a reporter.
He will cover energy grid security.
Vasquez has been covering cybersecurity for Energywire at E&E News. He previously worked at Politico as a digital producer and before that as a cybersecurity intern during the 2018 midterm elections.
Vasquez graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2018, where he majored in multimedia journalism.
