CQ Roll Call editor in chief Camia departs

Catalina Camia, editor in chief at CQ Roll Call, has left.

Camia previously oversaw the Money and Influence coverage, and reporters who specialized in political money, lobbying, immigration and data-driven journalism.

She has extensive experience in politics and elections as an editor and reporter, having worked for various outlets, including as a national political correspondent for USA Today. There, she was also an anchor of the OnPolitics blog and was co-director of 2008 presidential campaign coverage and an assignment editor.

Additionally, she also reported on campaign finance, economics, the White House and NASA. Previously, she has also reported for The Dallas Morning News and got her start in Washington as an environmental policy reporter for CQ.

Camia is a former national president of the Asian American Journalists Association and UNITY: Journalists of Color and a graduate of the University of Southern California.
