Ross Marowits, a reporter and editor who covered the Canadian and U.S. stock markets, commodities and currency for the Canadian Press, has left.
His LinkedIn post reads:
“It’s been a great ride but I have decided that the time has come to try something new. I’m sure that I will miss journalism and the talented reporters, editors and photographers I’ve had the pleasure of working with all these years in Montreal and Toronto.
“I am excited to be joining the media team at the Canada Infrastructure Bank.”
Marowit had been with the Canadian Press for more than 20 years. He was a business correspondent who covered forestry, pharmaceutical, transportation, beer, power generation, IT, clothing manufacturers, banking, home retailing, dairy and engineering construction sectors.
He also served as a general assignment reporter.
