Blint-Welsh joining WSJ on the young audiences team

Tyler Blint-Welsh, a national correspondent at The Wall Street Journal, will be joining the WSJ young audiences team starting next week.

The new project is aimed at building a digital magazine for telling stories of audiences that have been ignored.

Before coming to WSJ, Blint-Welsh was a reporting fellow at The Washington Post. He also held the posts of a James Reston reporting fellow and investigative reporter at The New York Times and The Bangor Daily News, respectively.

He also worked as a reporter at both the Los Angeles Times and The New York Times Student Journalism Institute. Additionally, he worked as a content strategist at Netpulse and was an editorial writer for FanSided.

He also has experience working as a staff photographer and also served as a sports writer at the Boston Globe Media.

Blint-Welsh has a degree in journalism from Northeastern University.
