The Financial Times has hired Louis Ashworth as a reporter/writer for its financial blog FT Alphaville.
Ashworth begins in September.
Recently, he was a markets reporter at The Telegraph, where he ran a daily live blog, covering the latest business, markets and economics news. Previously, he was at City A.M., where he worked as a reporter/deputy night editor and night editor.
Ashworth worked at Varsity Publications Ltd., The i Paper, Sky, The Times, The Sunday Times and The Independent. He was an editorial assistant at The Week U.K.
Ashworth has a B.A. in English literature from the University of Cambridge.
