Yahoo Finance is seeking senior producers to help launch its all-day live programming.
Description:
- Candidate would oversee several hours of programming and manage a team of lead show producers
- In the near term, he or she would help shape the growing network, working with the executive producer as well as graphics and studio crew to create unique shows and looks that appeal to a variety of demographics and deliver real-time financial and business news to Yahoo Finance’s more than 70 million monthly active users
- In the longer term, the coordinating producers would manage multiple show teams, driving editorial and always looking for ways to differentiate the content through new series, tentpoles, and methods of delivery
Requirements:
- Applicants should have at least seven years of experience in the news industry (digital a plus)
- Experience in a live control room setting
- Possess a proven track record of successful management of a team of at least three people
