The Frankfurt Bureau of Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal is looking for a reporter on its Spot News Desk.
This intensely real-time position involves reporting on corporate and general German news. The successful candidate will be a curious journalist who thrives in high-pressure situations, and is a fast, accurate and a strong writer of English.
The position requires familiarity with how corporations report earnings, how economies are measured and how financial markets react to news, while offering opportunities to develop story ideas with editors and colleagues.
German fluency is a requirement for the position, which also involves some translation from German to English.
Please submit your CV and covering letters along with some recent clips.
