WSJ/Dow Jones seeks digital media reporter

The Media and Marketing Group is looking for a reporter to cover the fast growing digital media sector as well as the rapidly evolving newspaper business.

Few businesses have been affected as much by the digital revolution as news – people can now read what’s happening on BuzzFeed, Vice, Business Insider and a plethora of other startups or on the web sites and print editions of longstanding publishers. Keeping up with the startups and their attempts at defining a business model, as well as tracking the efforts by legacy publishers to keep up, is the focus of this beat.

The position requires skill both in dealing with fast-breaking news as well as developing in-depth features. Experience in corporate coverage would be helpful.
