WSJ seeks workplace columnist in New York

The Wall Street Journal is hiring a columnist to write a reported column about the quirks, realities and frustrations of the workplace today.

This regular column, somewhat based on WSJ’s popular, “Cubicle Culture” from the early 2000s, would be told from the worker’s perspective and report what it’s like to implement the policies dictated by upper management.

Topics for exploration will include:

  • Home vs. Inside the office
  • Demands on productivity
  • Challenges of incorporating technology into work
  • Transition in management from baby boomers to millennials
  • Office relationships
  • Mental health issues and more

This role will report to Life & Arts coverage chief Lisa Bannon.
