WSJ seeks venture capital reporter in New York

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a thoughtful and motivated reporter to write about venture capital for our specialist readers.

Based in New York, this reporter will focus on the venture investments that fuel innovation and which have helped create the current, though weakening, Silicon Valley boom.

We take a hard-eyed and probing approach to covering these companies and their backers, serving our VC readers with full and deep daily coverage of venture capital news. This reporter will also step back to analyze trends, often telling stories with numbers using our in-house VC database.

We need a reporter who is an assiduous contact-maker, who can cut through technical gobbledygook and spin and who can see the broader context within daily news.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.

To apply, go here.
