The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced reporter to cover the most valuable tech startups as they prepare for public offerings.
Uber, Lyft, Airbnb and others have reshaped industries and upended traditional patterns for startups by staying private longer while spending billions of dollars in venture capital and amassing high valuations. This reporter will dig into their business operations, finances and company cultures. The right candidate will be a proven sourcer with the ability to break news and conceptualize agenda-setting enterprise.
At least five years of experience covering business or finance is required, as is a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others.
