The Wall Street Journal is hiring strategy editors to help drive digital journalistic excellence within WSJ’s coverage areas and ensure that new newsroom initiatives and capabilities are effectively translated into coverage.
The eight strategy editors will report to the programming strategy editor, who reports to the Journal’s chief news strategist.
As a strategy editor, you will provide a bridge between coverage teams and strategy teams, provide daily guidance on story performance and identify opportunities among other tasks.
Applicants must have journalistic experience of at least 5 years with good communication skills. Also, you should be a good collaborator.
