The Wall Street Journal is seeking a seasoned, energetic reporter to join our Justice Department coverage team.
As we face a strong flow of news from the Justice Department, FBI and Special Counsel’s Office, we are looking for a journalist who can juggle breaking news, scoops and enterprise of varying lengths. Applicants ideally would have a demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter, from cybersecurity to legal procedure, as well as an ability to develop sources in the often-secretive law enforcement community.
This person will be part of a team, so collegiality and a willingness to collaborate are a must. The applicant should be comfortable regularly updating stories, conceiving online graphics, and otherwise providing excellent web-based coverage. This is a high-profile, exciting beat of great value to the Journal.
