The Wall Street Journal is seeking a reporter to cover initial public offerings and financing in Asia. The job will include responsibility for covering initial public offerings, debt deals, and venture capital fundraisings.

We want a reporter who can follow the money to find out where companies are raising capital and investors are putting their money in China, India, and other parts of the region.

The ideal candidate would be able to break big scoops on this highly-competitive beat and be able to closely work with colleagues throughout the region. The reporter would need to develop a working knowledge of industries from technology to healthcare and energy – wherever big deals are happening. The position is based in Hong Kong and Asian language ability is a plus.

Dow Jones offers an opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading financial and business news companies. We invite interested candidates to submit a cover letter and detailed resume (including up to five published samples of your work), current and expected salary.
