WSJ seeks reporter in Brussels

November 17, 2014

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a driven reporter who would thrive under the challenge of covering Europe from Brussels as competition heats up and as the role of the European Union grows in global business, economics and politics.

The successful candidate will join an active bureau that has the challenge of making Europe comprehensible to the paper’s U.S. and global readership across a broad range of subjects, but must also command the policy detail and the politics necessary to service our growing European audience.

We are looking for someone with flexibility, experience and flair who will be willing to pitch in, where needed, on the unexpected stories that often land on our desks and to help us cover the frequent high-level meetings that take place in Brussels. An extra language or two would be a big plus — and some editing experience might not go amiss though isn’t essential. If you feel that this position matches your skills, please send a CV and covering letter.

Please note only candidates requested for interview will be contacted.
