WSJ seeks reporter in Brussels

The Wall Street Journal is looking for an enterprising reporter in Brussels to cut through the thickets of European Union bureaucracy and politics.

It’s a critical phase for the bloc, which is passing through the most intensive crisis of its history thanks to heavy migration, slow growth and Brexit. At the same time, the city’s importance as a policy-making center grows, a fact reflected in the growing numbers of business and financial lobbyists that are now based there.

The successful candidate would already have some years in journalism, and be comfortable writing about economics. He or she would be joining a dynamic and active multinational team that focuses on the major economic, political and business developments for a discerning worldwide audience. Speaking German, as well as another major European language, would be a distinct advantage.

To apply, please send a copy of your CV and clips. Please note only candidates successful to interview stage will be contacted.
