WSJ seeks product manager, audience touchpoints

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a product manager, audience touchpoints, to help build engaging and habit-forming news experiences for its audience. The successful candidate will work with both the web and mobile product teams, driving delivery and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and Agile software development teams.

DUTIES:

  • Write clear, concise requirements and user stories which clearly and unambiguously communicate acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate communication between developers, designers, and business stakeholders regarding goals, requirements, and growth expectations
  • Provide accurate and timely program status reporting throughout the life cycle

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years product experience with a background in journalism or content creation is a big plus
  • Able to accurately handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work well independently and as a member of a larger team
  • Decisive with a bias towards action; must thrive in fast-paced, agile environments
  • Able to effectively present and explain results with quantitative information and excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills
