WSJ seeks platform editor

The Wall Street Journal is looking to hire a platform editor based in New York. The editor will help manage programming decisions on Apple News and other digital platforms.

The role calls for sharp writing skills, strong editing skills, employing good judgement skills, understanding the balance between breaking news and features journalism and demonstrating various digital media skills.

An ideal candidate would be detail oriented, works well independently, is comfortable managing multiple tasks and collaborates with other groups.

As a platform editor, you will be reporting to the editor, news partnerships.
