The Wall Street Journal is looking for an enterprising newshound to cover the U.S. pharmaceutical industry.
Big Pharma is at the center of changing national policy, dealmaking and science, and the successful reporter must dominate national coverage of every aspect of this dynamic industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to break news and get inside companies to explain the workings of a complex industry, as well as the writing chops to bring stories to life with compelling narratives.
Experience covering drug makers is desirable, but not required. What is required is the drive to juggle breaking news with longer-term projects and work across platforms and teams. We are looking for a reporter who can produce stories in all their forms, from the written word to podcasts, video and graphics.
The job is based in New York in the Health & Science team.
