WSJ seeks page one editor

The Wall Street Journal seeks a Page One editor with excellent news judgment, strong narrative skills and a deep commitment to developing the Journal’s signature enterprise journalism on the Web.

The successful candidate must be able to jungle varied demands: smart takes on deadline for extras, deep dives for leders, wry twists for a-heds, headlines that work in the paper and engage people and bots on the Web, collaborative efforts with designers to produce strong visuals for the paper and to exploit the Internet’s unique capabilities. Lastly, the candidate must thrive in a high-stakes, yet collegial environment, comfortable working with people around the world and within the Page One team.

Please attach a resume, cover letter and three to five published clips to your online application.
