WSJ seeks national security reporter

The Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau is seeking an experienced reporter to join its ambitious and highly regarded national-security team.

The ideal candidate must have experience covering foreign policy and national security in Washington, including the State Department, and be prepared and equipped to move across the lines of various agencies to get behind the scenes of U.S. policy-making.

Familiarity with foreign diplomats is helpful; knowledge of the global security situation is essential.

We place a high value on breaking news but also value reporters who can step back to conceive and execute broader feature and enterprise news stories.
