The Wall Street Journal is seeking a multimedia editor with a combination of strong photo editing and data visualization skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous editorial experience in news print and online platforms, combining a keen eye and knowledge of photo editing research and practices with an ability to build high-quality composite images and charts, working from available data to create visually engaging graphics.

The daily workflow includes working with editors, reporters and visuals colleagues from the international bureaus to the NYC hub. Strong organizational skills, an ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, thorough understanding of good journalism and how to produce it for multiple platforms are a must.

Significant experience with Web tools and programs, including content management systems and Adobe Creative Suite are expected. Candidates should expect to work Sunday through Thursday from the New York office.

Applications should include a resume and cover letter.
