WSJ seeks markets reporter in Hong Kong

May 10, 2016

The Asia finance team in Hong Kong is looking for enthusiastic, energetic reporters to join a team that covers Asian financial markets in real time for all our platforms, from newswires to the WSJ online.

The reporters would be responsible for developing a deep understanding of a markets beat, writing short, timely Market Talk commentaries on what’s happening, and weighing in with longer pieces on the most important developments for our global audience. The positions offer a front-row view on the epicenter of this year’s markets turmoil — China, and more broadly, Asia — as well as the chance to shine on one of the most important stories for the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones this year.

We want journalists who are curious and can write quickly and with clarity, and have a passion for exploring and breaking news. Previous markets-reporting experience is a plus, as is proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese.

Dow Jones offers an opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading financial and business news companies. We invite interested candidates to submit a cover letter and detailed resume (including up to five published samples of your work), current and expected salary.
