WSJ seeks Market Talk editor in Hong Kong

The Wall Street Journal is seeking a Hong Kong-based editor to work on our Market Talk team.

Market Talk, our flagship markets news and information product, offers insight and rapid analysis into market moves, present and expected, and key features of trading in various segments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for our daily Market Talk news flow, working with reporters and the assigning editors to make copy sing and publish items under constant, tight deadline pressure. Trading is fast-paced, and the intelligence we provide must be timely and relevant, arming traders with useful and actionable information.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
