WSJ seeks “Heard on the Street” reporter in Hong Kong

The Wall Street Journal’s “Heard on the Street” team is looking for a savvy, quick-thinking journalist to join our team in Asia.

The position marries lively commentary with the world’s most vibrant region and is an opportunity to join one of the most respected and imitated teams in journalism.

The “Heard on the Street” is the WSJ’s premium outlet for financial commentary and analysis. Its 15 journalists are based in New York, San Francisco, London and Hong Kong where they engage with the Journal’s highly dedicated readers on the subjects they care about most.

The coverage ranges widely from Japanese banks to Indian outsourcing companies to regional macro issues. Reporters are expected to be able to write clear, clean and sophisticated copy on tight deadlines.

The position requires strong reporting experience and an understanding of markets and investing. A solid background in data and financial analysis is useful. Experience in the region and language skills are positives but not required.

Dow Jones offers an opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading financial and business news companies.

We invite interested candidates to submit a cover letter and detailed resume (including up to five published samples of your work), current and expected salary here.
