WSJ seeks futures editor in New York

June 14, 2016

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a talented, versatile leader to run our coverage of futures and options.

This job offers a big opportunity: shaping the Journal’s approach to an industry at the heart of Wall Street. It carries responsibility for covering the big futures marketplaces — the largest players in the exchange industry — as well as broader issues including the fast spreading financialization of markets, regulatory debates over derivatives, and trading strategy.

The position is for a player coach who can direct the work of a few reporters, round up resources from around the Journal, and jump in to report and write as needed. Experience covering futures or related subject matters is preferred.

Applications should include a resume and cover letter.
