WSJ seeks Federal Reserve reporter

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an enterprising journalist to work with our Global Central Banks Editor and our reporting team in Washington and New York to cover the U.S. Federal Reserve, one of the most important players in the worlds’ economy and markets.

The reporter would work with the team to break news and jump on daily stories as well as connect the dots for smart analyses, profiles, features and front-page enterprise stories that would help readers understand Fed policy making and its impact on the economy, businesses household and individuals.

The reporter will be based in Washington D.C. and work across all platforms.

Qualifications: We are looking for someone with strong news judgment, writing ability and digital skills. The ideal candidate would have experience covering markets and economics, getting scoops, developing sources and working well with others. Experience covering central banking would be a plus.
