The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced reporter to cover European financial markets.
The London markets group writes about stocks, bonds, currencies, oil, futures, options, swaps and other fun things. But we don’t just cover the ups and downs: We use markets to tell the stories of the global economy and its financial players.
This reporter will join our team in a senior role, writing across asset classes and tying together markets and monetary policy. Some financial-market or economics experience is required, and deep knowledge of at least one major asset class is a strong plus, but above all we want hard-charging reporters and agile thinkers.
This is an extraordinary time to cover markets. Monetary policy is deep in unnavigated (and perhaps unnavigable) waters, and is taking all manner of stuff with it.
Please note only candidates requested for interview will be contacted.
Competitive salary plus benefits offered.
