Deals coverage is at the heart of financial journalism and at the heart of The Wall Street Journal. The European deals reporter will be our chief chronicler of mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, takeover battles and activism in Europe.
The job requires keen competitive instincts, a track record of scoops and a desire to dig deep into corporate strategy and finance. The European deals reporter is part of our expanding markets-and-finance group in London and is allied closely with our New York-based deals team. The job is based in London.
