WSJ seeks editor to run markets news desk

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an editor to run its market news desk.

The successful candidate will oversee production of the print edition of Money & Investing, as well the Markets section of wsj.com.

Responsibilities include managing the layout of the print and online sections, directing copy flow for features and news stories, and scheduling a team of more than a dozen copy editors. The job requires the ability to work in close collaboration with the editor of Money & Investing, the real-time news desk, wsj.com editors and the design, graphics and photo departments.

The successful applicant will be a proven leader and team builder who is comfortable working in both the print and online worlds.
