The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced digital audio producer for its New York newsroom.
Position Requirements:
- Manage and operate our New York City radio studio.
- Oversee production of daily and weekly podcasts for the Wall Street Journal, Opinion Journal and Barrons.
- Work with senior editors on business development and technology plans for current and future podcasts.
- Embed audio reports on WSJ.com and the WSJ digital network.
- Must have a passion for podcast production and be fully conversant in social media and mobile and tablet media consumption trends.
- A demonstrable knowledge of next generation audio products (apps to autos) is desired.
- Must have several years experience behind the microphone with strong writing skills and a passion for audio storytelling.
