WSJ seeks arts and entertainment reporter

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced writer and reporter to cover the national arts and entertainment scene.

The job requires five years of experience writing for a national publication. The successful candidate must embrace our digital-first approach and have a proven track record of writing for digital and print platforms.

Candidate must have a demonstrated record of breaking news, writing blog posts, and conceiving of and delivering ambitious in-depth pieces. Must be able to generate ambitious story ideas and have an eye for spotting news and important developments early in their development.

A previous body of work writing about the changes roiling the entertainment business and a solid grounding in business journalism is strongly desired. A crisp, clear writing style is a plus.
