You will cover what the rise of data and the cloud, advanced cybersecurity tools, blockchain and the metaverse and other virtual platforms mean for companies and their businesses. You will write for multiple products targeted at professionals who are looking to understand these technologies and make relevant investment decisions.
You will write for Pro Venture Capital about important new ideas gaining traction in Silicon Valley and emerging VC hubs such as New York, Austin and Miami. You will also provide compelling analysis for CIO Journal in articles and newsletters about the latest applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will also contribute to WSJ Pro Cybersecurity, and work with teams across the newsroom.
You are familiar with technology, have the be ability to break down and explain what companies are trying to do, and have an interest in testing and tracking emerging technology. You are a self-starter with lots of energy and ideas, and the ability to get up to speed quickly on new subjects.
You are able to write quick, clean, concise and authoritative analysis driven by the news, and have a proven ability to develop high-level sources.
While you may start remotely, you will eventually be based in our New York or San Francisco office. You will report to WSJ Pro Enterprise Tech Editor Steve Rosenbush.
