The Journal is a daily podcast that takes listeners behind the biggest business news stories of the day. Using The Wall Street Journal’s deep reporting, our show focuses on money and business, applying those lenses to creatively tell narratives about everything from inflation to Hollywood, in 15- to 20-minute episodes.
As an audio reporter you will collaborate closely with the team to identify stories for original audio reporting and then produce episodes for the show. The reporter will voice their own episodes and may also act as a backup host when needed.
Top candidates for this position will have a professional background in audio journalism, with exceptional reporting, writing skills and strong experience producing audio in the studio and in the field. An ability to collaborate with the team and manage multiple projects is a must.
The position is based in our New York City office and in the interim will report to the Senior Editor of The Journal podcast.
