The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced, aggressive and insightful reporter to cover Alphabet/Google, one of the world’s biggest and most important companies.
The beat is as complex as it is large, covering a broad portfolio: Google’s massive core search and advertising business, its foray into cloud services and infrastructure, its Youtube and Android platforms, its moonshots such as self-driving case and more.
The successful candidate will be an artful juggler, moving deftly between chronicling Google the business, Google the technology behemoth and Google the company filled with futuristic ambitions. Experience covering technology is a must, as is a keen analytical bent and an ability to turn prose that renders the complex clear.
Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
