WSJ seeks ag reporter in Chicago

The Wall Street Journal seeks a dynamic, enterprising reporter to cover U.S. agriculture companies from its Chicago Bureau. We’re looking for a newshound who’s able to develop sources and break news on companies that play a vital role in global food production, including Monsanto, ADM, Cargill and Mosaic. The position also calls for a strong thinker who can write penetrating feature stories on an industry that touches everything from soybean farmers in Iowa to grain traders in China.

The position is part of a team that also covers agricultural commodities markets and other aspects of agribusiness, so it requires a person who is agile, adaptable, and able to work effectively with others. Minimum of three years experienced required.
