WSJ seeks a White House reporter

The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced and aggressive reporter to join our team covering the White House. The job involves daily and pool duty as part of a rotation and we expect you to juggle breaking news with incisive enterprise reporting.

You will also have a role in coverage of the 2020 campaign.

We are looking for a reporter who already is well-sourced within the administration and can operate on a turnkey basis. Knowledge and experience in the national security arena is preferred.

You will be based in Washington, D.C., and report to the Politics Editor.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
