This reporter will also illuminate the inner workings of the venture industry, including deals, fundraising, personalities and management issues that animate this most colorful corner of the financial sector.
Candidates should have minimum of five years of hard-news reporting experience, preferably writing about technology and/or finance. She or he must be able to produce clean, concise and compelling copy under tight deadline pressure. The position requires the ability to analyze complex business, social, tech and economic issues and make them understandable both to industry insiders and a wide-ranging audience alike. Candidates should also be comfortable mining data to generate stories and data-driven insights.
