The Wall Street Journal is looking for a full-time reporter to write for CIO Journal, a Wall Street Journal product targeted at IT professionals. You will write on the interplay of business and technology for chief information officers and other business leaders.

We are looking for someone to write about how IT teams are managing and implementing online strategy, security and governance tools across the tech infrastructure. The candidate should be able to reach executives and write knowledgeably about IT investments.

You should be able to distill complex ideas and provide useful insights for our professional audience without losing the general reader. You are comfortable writing about the nuances of technology, developing sources within the corporate world and getting them to talk candidly.

You also will help the team produce daily newsletters and participate in events and conferences.

You may start the job remotely, you will eventually be based in New York. You will report to WSJ Pro Enterprise Technology Editor Steven Rosenbush.

To apply, please submit your resume, and a cover letter explaining how you would approach the job.
