  • Manage and publicize job postings
  • Ensure that a diverse slate of candidates representing a wide range of experiences and backgrounds is considered for each open position
  • Create and support career-development plans for current Journal employees
  • Assist in the selection and mentoring of interns
  • Represent the Journal at career fairs, journalism conferences and recruiting events

You have:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships and trusted networks
  • Deep understanding of the brand values and mission of The Wall Street Journal
  • Passion for the journalism created in this newsroom
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to represent the best of the Journal’s core attributes at speaking engagements, recruiting events and internal training
  • Critical thinking and diplomatic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle high-volume recruitment and multiple projects.
