WSJ seeks a justice and judiciary editor

The Wall Street Journal Washington Bureau is seeking an editor to drive our coverage of the U.S. Justice Department and Supreme Court. This includes primary responsibility for driving coverage of federal legal trends, the FBI, corporate antitrust issues, homeland security issues and more.

You should have at least five years of experience reporting/editing legal and judicial stories for a major news organization. You should know policy, be skilled conceptualizing ambitious enterprise stories, work well with others, enjoy helping reporters grow and have a fast metabolism.

In other words, you should be someone who can turn around breaking news at digital speed as well as help craft the deeply reported, memorable, revelatory stories that distinguish The Wall Street Journal’s best work.
