WSJ seeks a deputy editor for Pro Private Equity

The Wall Street Journal is seeking a news editor to help manage private-equity coverage for its growing professional products team.

We are looking for someone to help oversee the news flow for our daily online WSJ Pro Private Equity newsletter and website, as well as coordinate editing efforts for our monthly Private Equity Analyst magazine.

WSJ Pro Private Equity is one of the fastest-growing areas of the global capital markets. We need a natural team player who can work with journalists across the company to create the best stories for our various platforms.

The New York-based editor will be responsible for working with the head of the private-equity platform to help reporters develop daily and enterprise news stories for a professional private-equity audience.

S/he should have knowledge of corporate finance, specifically private equity, and an ability to shape complex data-driven stories. Experience with Adobe InCopy is preferred.
