WSJ Pro seeks a senior publishing editor in London

WSJ Pro is looking for a senior publishing editor for its editing desk. The Pro editing desk handles daily and enterprise stories, as well as newsletters from the 11 Pro and C-Suite groups. We’re looking for a team player with business editing experience in areas such as corporate, finance or technology news. You must also demonstrate an understanding of – or eagerness to delve into the various topics covered by our Professional teams — logistics, corporate finance, technology, risk, bankruptcy and private equity.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, versatile and who has the temperament to efficiently handle multiple articles and responsibilities across platforms. You must have exceptional news judgment and the ability to sharply edit and elevate stories of all types with speed and depth under deadline pressure for a digital audience.

You will uphold WSJ’s high standards through precise and concise editing, sharp headlines and distinctive presentation. You will make decisions about breaking news, coordinate with coverage chiefs on strategy on the top news of the day and work closely with our news bureaus and visuals editors. You will also work on lively, in-depth feature stories and graphics.

You will be based in London and report to the Professional Products Editor.
