WSJ Pro, the part of The Wall Street Journal that provides specialized content for professional audiences, seeks a full-time reporter for its Cybersecurity team.

The journalist in this exciting Pro Cybersecurity role will write about the corporate strategy dimensions of cybersecurity, covering events, writing spot news and developing longer-term analysis pieces. This reporter may occasionally write for Pro Artificial Intelligence about the business applications of AI for cyber defense and for CIO Journal on the role of chief information officers in influencing corporate cyber strategy. All three of these products focus on critical matters of business execution that go to the heart of what professional readers must know to do their jobs and succeed.

In addition, the Pro Cybersecurity team is also involved in planning and participating in a range of live journalism conferences across the U.S. and annually in London.

The ideal candidate must be able to explain complex subjects in a clear and concise manner, distilling what’s most important, interesting and relevant. The ability to develop sources within the corporate world and get them to talk candidly is critical, too. We are looking for a highly collaborative and collegial person who is motivated to cover one of the world’s most exciting beats with energy, imagination and ambition.

The position is based in New York and reports to the WSJ Pro Enterprise Technology Editor and WSJ Pro Cybersecurity Deputy Editor.
