WSJ Pro seeks a central banking reporter

WSJ Pro, the unit of The Wall Street Journal that provides specialized news, data and analysis for professional audiences, seeks a senior reporter to cover central banking and monetary policy issues.

The journalist in this position would be the lead writer for WSJ Pro Central Banking, providing news and exclusive analysis on developments at the Federal Reserve. Duties include regular coverage of speeches by Federal Reserve officials, as well as analytical takes related to central banking news and monetary policy themes.

The content produced by this journalist will be featured prominently in the daily Pro Central Banking newsletter and on the accompanying Pro Central Banking landing page. Spot news coverage will also appear on Dow Jones Newswires.

The person in this position must be an experienced real-time reporter with in-depth understanding of central banking and monetary policy, someone who is equally adept at covering breaking news as connecting the dots and providing fresh insights. Speed, accuracy and strong writing skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
